Thought i would share this with you guys!
I re-shaped the blade on my Mora double sided into a left handed, and moved the cutting edge closer to the handle, which I also re-shaped!

Once I was happy with the feel and cut of it, i decided to re-handle.
4th picture show my little whittler I made from a Mora 106, and it is my Fave for small work!

A beautiful piece of Walnut supplied by my good frien Hugo, and a piece of ash from my stock!
Many thanks for looking

Nicely done!!! I like the box sheath you've made. I've got a leather wrap on my Ben orford crook, and although I like the simplicity, It can be abit fiddly! I think I now have my solution!!!

Agree on the wrap idea, bit fiddly!
I just made a leather stitched tube sock kind of thing which works quite well.
Maybe another solution!

Thanx for sharing! I'm yet to play with leather... But you gotta start somewhere I suppose? Another project to add to the ever increasing list!!!

It's a Dorset Woodlands Mocotaugan blade with a hand made left handed Yew wood handle, and it cut's beautifully! well worth the money!
