if anyone has a walkman that they can part with I would be very interested, my son has been scouting about everywhere looking for one with no luck and i'd really like to help him out, so, if anyone has one they can part with please PM me and we can sort something out, the older the better

I have a well used, but still working (last time I checked) sony minidisc walkman thingie.....must have 60 discs or so too, half of them unused.
He's welcome to it if it's of any interest Tony. He'll need to clear some very heavy metal off the used discs though

Yep And don't I kick myself for the ones that i've thrown out over the years, he's 16 and he thinks it's amazing, went and bought some used tapes the other day, 2 months ago we threw out boxes of them

I have one of the Black waterproof walkmans, somewhere, its at least 30 years old, I 'll see if I can find it, and if it still works

likewise, I have a pretty bog-standard Sony Walkman for cassette tapes. Model WM-EX116. Still works fine.
I considered throwing it out the other day along with a box of jazz tapes, but I didn't get around to it. Happy
to pop in the post for you instead - PM me if req'd. Also, let me know if you want any jazz tapes
