Well I've recently managed to find who is responsible for looking after and maintaing my local woodland as detailed in my hiking post. After browsing their website I enquires about volunteering to be a countryside manager which just involves keeping local trails in good order and helping to remove fallen trees etc.
I was wondering if anyone else works or volunteers ina similar capacity that can give me some advice on doing this from their experiences.
I have my induction next Thursday and upon clearance of CRB and qualifying criteria I will be able to say I have an official capacity in keeping my local woodland and trails maintained.
Id like to hear of anymore experiences.
