Here’s my latest project. Made out of stuff I had laying around. 1095 steel (not the best sword steel but it’s still plenty flexible) the pommel and guard are a old stone chisel with brass and antler.

I’m weary of our ‘plain vanilla’ steels getting bashed instead of hammer forged. First, Vanilla is incredible in itself.
Right, carbon steels were met with
Greater wonder, and no little dismay by bronze wielding opponents than the latest Vunder
Rostfrei, XYZ-666 cryogenic self sharpening Excalibur tested by DBK.
These steels built bridges, railroad lines and the ships and rolling stock they served. They stopped Napoleon at Waterloo, extracted an arrowhead from a king’s cheek , powered Spitfires and Mustangs and went to the moon.
I can’t wait to see the culture and history changing accomplishments

Butters scones with my O1 Survival -,Bushcraft knife.
Nice sword. Don’t cut anything irreplaceable with it.
