Sure you could do that, but why would you want or need to?

This reminds me of that episode of Bear Grylls where he violently gives himself a seawater enema to "stave off dehydration".

Truthfully I think even giving head room to these extreme techniques is basically planning for failure. The mental energy devoted to becoming a backwoods commando could be better utilised in ensuring you don't end up in a survival situation at all, or if you do that it is as civilised and as un-extreme as possible.

Compare the midnight rescues of inexperienced hikers from cliff faces, whilst the experienced hikers just hunker down in a bivvy bag and have a good nights kip. All very civilised and no one needs to handle pee....
