I have a Victorinox Skipper folding knife, which while it suits me very well, has one slight drawback. The blade is serrated along most of its edge, which although it cuts very well, I have come to prefer straight blades, as I can easily sharpen them. Before I regrind it all straight, I was wondering whether there was anybody in the opposite situation that wanted to swap blades (if I can work out how to remove it), to save us both a bit of effort?

Thanks,

Ant

a mini knife steel of ceramic or tungsten should be able to sharpen inbetween the victorianox serrations. i have sharpened that sort of serration with that sort of steel, and they also do a satisfactory job on straight knives. A round rat tail file or diamond rasp if fine enough may also be ok.
