Ventile Gaiters

Bloke on Ebay selling ventile gaiters. I hate synthetic gaiters as every pair I've tried gives me sweaty legs so I was looking for plain cotton ones in green when I stumbled on these. I bought a set and they're very well put together and let your calves breath

Wouldn't Ventile be a bit fragile for gaiters??

I've had some for a while and they are very good and tough enough for most uses. Mine haven't ripped yet. They get a bit soggy and stiff after a while but are very breathable.

My worry too.

I have a Ventile windshirt and it's soft and thin. not what I'd want thrashing through the undergrowth. Might be great for up on the hills though.

I have some heavy canvas gaiters and they are hard as nails.

Best suited for snow or boggy conditions I would have thought, prone to rip/snaring in woodland. Heavy canvas would be better I would have thought.

No probs with sweat, no probs pushing through woodland brush yet.

Got them from that seller.

ex army od canvas gaiters are a better buy very hard wareing and mine have lasted years
