Recently learned about this tripod but for some odd reason they have been discontinued. It's the most compact/lightest real tripod available (or not available so it seems).

Does anybody have one lying around they're not using, know where they're in stock or know of a decent alternative?

TIA

25 Euros? To be honest I wouldn't want to balance even a half decent camera on such a flimsy tripod. All it would take is a puff of wind and bang! The legs are not adjustable, just click stops, no in-between locking to help level it. Have a look at the London Camera Exchange or other used camera places, pay more, and go for a carbon fibre tripod which will have more general use rather than so lightweight, you'll be so pleased you did.

Thanks but its only the weight, height and compactness I'm concerned with. I wont be using a fragile camera/lens etc, I'll be using a Galaxy Note II on it and that will be in a rugged case.

Fair do's ADz sorry I can't help. These can be handy too................ http://joby.com/

Thanks but already have a Gorrillapod style tripod. Was interested in the Vpod for the height mainly. I already have a normal lightweight el-cheapo tripod from eBay which is surprisingly good but just trying to get something similar but more compact which is where the Vpod comes in. Chris Townsend even uses it for his walks etc.

I'll check out the sites the used camera places you mentioned, thnx :)
