Yep, backpacked with one of these in my teens (a Mk3) - very heavy but literally storm force proof. They still make great base camp or vehicle trekking tents that will stand up to just about anything and they are still available new!

For years we camped with the two kids and a golden retriever and a Mk5 Force Ten in a Triumph Dolomite - now the two of us struggle to get all our kit in a 110 :)

Great memories of Force Tens! :)

Still use one of these for car camping when weight isn’t an issue....great bombproof tent

This is actually my second one, as the original one was over 30 years old

Next purchase is a cotton fly sheet for it, as the nylon one attracts a fair bit of condensation

For backpacking/hiking/wild camping my trusty Hilleberg Nammatj 2 will never let me down

The best thing about both of these fantastic tents is knowing that they will be with me for years to come...both of them are top notch quality and famous for their durability, and once I buy the cotton fly sheet for the force 10 I shouldn’t need to spend any more money on tentage for years to come....thank god haha!

Thanks,
Allan
