I got hold of a uxi kernal today, never heard of them nor seen one, Has anyone worked with them before and how is best to carve them.

Are they like tagua nuts or is that something completly different?

Ahh, i see(googled it!)similar, they look a bit like big nutmeg's.Id imagine to carve it you would need to glue it to something first like a table..
