Do you have photos and do you know how old it is? I have a Snugpak (Elite 2 I think) which is rated to -5 and around 3 years old. Stored in a lofting bag and only used with a goretex bivi or indoors. At most it has been used 5 or 6 times in the past 18 months. It does need a minor repair (which I would take care of) where the hood drawstring was a bit tight and pulled the stitching.
