Unusual wild rabbit pelt

Checked the wildlife camera today and aside from some nice pictures of a cheeky pheasant, the only other animal caught on it was this rabbit:

Is there something wrong with it or is it just growing a Winter coat?

Think it's changing it's coat, have seen a few similar 'round here.
