Unexpected use of a paracord bracelet

I was doing a garden clearance job today and I bent down to pick up a pile of rubbish and the button popped off my trousers. As I wasn't wearing a belt they started to fall down luckily I was wearing paracord bracelet and unwound it and used it as a belt for the rest of the day

These are great bits of work and I admire them a lot, but err, isn't making a paracord belt in case you need a belt just going about it the hard way? Why not just use a belt? Unless you like a paracord belt in its own right of course.

Not ridiculing anyone, just the way my mind works.

Seeing as it took me many hours to make I would hate to have to take the whole thing apart to use the cord in the wild!

Ah but yes you are correct, I found I like the paracord belt in it's own right. It's very secure but very soft to wear. Now my 9yr old wants one in camo pink.

Suppose if your Paracord Bracelet was fastened with a Quick Release Buckle that would make life easier,

I could just imagine me with a bit of paracord as my belt, busting for the loo and not being able to undo the ******* knot, just my luck!

I've taken a paracord bracelet apart so SWMBO could tie her hair back.
