I have a Hennessy explorer deluxe zip hammock, v v vcomfy but am looking for a full length under quilt in the uk and cant seem to locate one. I am off to NZ in july and will be wild camping and hiking solo so would like a little extra warmth, any ideas anyone?

I have this hammock and use a UKhammock down UQ (and top quilt too). Used so far to -2C without problems. Worth the extra cost to me over non-down kit plus bonus is it packs very small.

I have got the snugpak under quilt mate, I have however just ordered a down top quilt from Ukhammocks.
Those 2 are your best bet, i cant comment on the uk hammock UQ but Iv used the snugpak at minus 5 with no problem and Im pretty sure shewie has used it lower.
Snugpak - 1.3kg cost £85
Uk hammocks winter UQ - 895g cost £157 plus £9.50 delivery
So the snugpak is 400g lighter and half the price but is considerably bulkier.

I use a full length underquilt with exactly the same hammock but unfortunately they are no longer made so obtaining one is difficult - they are a collectors item these days - the Speer Snugfit underquilt is what I use.

I have a snugpak for my HH delux with zips. Big thumbs up and good customer service from DD hammocks to send it to me in Oz.
