can anyone recommend an ultralite 8X10feet tarp

quite specific about the size but colour isn't a deal breaker...

Ha! Just what I've been wanting to ask about too - hope there's more replies. I was looking at this from TW but I think the size isn't right for you Corso. As well as the price it's the lightness, not dark inside, that attracts me.

I have a Warbonnet Mamajamba which is close to your needs at 132"x120" and 13.5oz.

I am pretty sure http://www.outdoorequipmentsupplier.com/ do the size you're after and you can spec most requirements into a great tarp but expect a wait for delivery.

How ultralight? Is cuben fibre the sort of thing you mean? If so I can highly recommend the MLD Grace tarps or the ZPacks stuff.

LOL. I looked in BCUSA's store and found a 10x7 tarp and a 10x10 tarp; both in a good selection of colors. But no 10x8 tarp. Sorry.

Hi Elen, If its like their hammocks, it'll be bombproof. Personally I like the dark ones, especially first thing in the morning. If I need light, I just raise one side of the tarp.

Hey - The Alpkit one is the Rig7 - about 550gr made of Nylon.

I work fro Alpkit so am biased - but I have a demo one I have used at events all over the country for display and also for personal use - to be fair because I don't pay full price I do abuse mine a lot. Apart from putting a peg straight through it then having to patch it the rest is ok.
