I agree this seems more likely to be a proof of concept / publicity stunt rather than something seriously intended to be used. Even high end gaming machines don't have 1tb SSDs, so I can't imagine how much the flash drive alone must cost. 99.999% of that "about 400 to 3,000 dollars" I'd wager.
On a slightly OT note, I've come to the conclusion that SAKs are particularly vulnerable to the law of diminishing returns. I carried a full size Swiss Champ for several years and eventually got tired of lugging around a metal quarter-brick full of tools I never used. I scaled down to my one blade Arthur Wright.
However lately I have been missing some tools on the SAK, most notably the screwdrivers. I've been considering getting a new SAK which isn't quite so insane.
The Tinker or the Hiker both only contain tools I would actually use. The only "fat" on them is the small blade which I have always found redundant.
