Another beginners question i'm afraid

I am about to start work on my knife handle, and have heard loads of guys use araldite, but is UHU any good for gluing the scales to the metal handle?

Thanks all.

Phill

As John says, 2 part epoxy is the best stuff. Either Araldite precision or devvcon 2 ton. I use araldite exclusively. :)

Just to throw something else into the mix. I've been using serious stuff ultra from b&q, I've used it on just about everything, from pop can stoves to knife scales. Amazing stuff.

sent from my Jelly Bean'd galaxy nexus.

Just for something different you could try Gator Glue. Very good stuff, gives you plenty of time to adjust and it also remains a little flexible so less likely to crack.

Araldite is damn good stuff though.

UHU make and sell 2 pack epoxy aswell :)

Some of their epoxy putty mended an inch wide hole in my sump for 2 years.
