Made a tipi out of typar to see how the dimensions worked out before I spend the money on better material (typar was free). Pleased so far with the height and interior size! The typar was 9'x18' and cut to a half moon. A tennis ball in the top to attach the rope and several small stones and string for the bottom, pole-less roomy and silly light!
