Turning bottled fruit into jam

How do I work out the sugar amount for a small batch?

Bottled a load of fruit...But they want JAM instead...

Mum normally uses sugar:fruit in a 1:2 ratio (weight). But also depends if you have mixed fruits and / or the sweetness (sugar) of the fruit itself.
