Turning a Handbag into a Manbag

I got these two at the market. They are old but well made, I gave them a good leather feed.

The first could have straps added, I think. The second is an open top, with a flapped over pocket each side. The strap needs replacing. Its made by a company called Norris.

What do you think? Or should I pass them on to a vintage clothes dealer?

I think the first one looks like a man bag already, just needs a longer strap. Having said that I'm not a man bag expert ;).

I think they both look OK for manbags, but then I've been using a cartridge bag for years and am sold on the idea. Give them a whirl here and if nobody bites try your dealer friend.
