So today, I was going to go walk 20 miles past lots of forest and water, together with Joost and my dog. We had a great time.

First we saw a dead bunnyrabbit:

Then we saw lots of live ones, hares that is, about 11 of them in one field! and about eight roe deer. They make loads of noise when running away from you through dead giant hogweeds.

Then we passed a small uninhabited house, with swallow nests under the roof. Apparantly someone had placed fake ones there on purpose, to encourage them to make nests:

When we got to our destination, a reservation, it turned out that there were no dogs allowed. Not even on lead.:censored:

So we decided to turn back to the forest we passed earlier and do some bushcrafting. The dog was tired after 20 km already.

Sound like a good day, nice walk, good company, play with new toy, get to eat hotdogs :) and a sleepy and very cute puppy ;). Doesn't really get better on the simple things.

He's a Finnish Lapphund. I don't have to comb him much yet but in a few weeks when it gets warmer he'll shed his winter coat, and I'll have to comb him every day.

And indeed, it is good to see more young people in bushcraft:)

I'm the one in the camo coat btw.
