It might be a few days later Ed - if I remember from the last lot it was shown
in the English regions on the Friday and in Wales the following Wed. Have
a look at www.radiotimes.com and search for it.
Edit: Perhaps they're not being shown in Wales as I could only find details
of the one on 12 March and on 19 March (both Mondays). Boo hiss.
Delighted to hear it's being reshown, and after next Monday (last class of
Teeline shorthand!) I'll be able to watch it again - it really was great.

Caught this yesterday for the first time. It's a lovely, lovely program. I felt quite moved by parts of it.

i just watched the one about the apple tree. Really good program! That apple press was really interesting!

The final episode was supposed to have been on BBC2 tonight at 7pm however
it appears to have been snookered and it MIGHT be on later, but I get the impression
from my 'online' TV guide that we'll have to wait next week.
Shame, but on the other hand I have spent the day with trees at Kew gardens
as part of the Woodland Wonders festival - and the presenters were actually
there milling about with the crowds, and what with the woodworking demos
I've not done too badly really
I think Johnny Kingdom will be on at half seven though! Or possibly 8...

And a fantastic series it is. The two guys from Kew have real charisma and are good for a laugh too. I went to Kew Gardens earlier his year and kept an eye out for them so that I could nag them to do a second series! Didn't see them though.

I didn't - I was too shy. What I actually wanted was to know if the series would be
available on DVD. I did email Tony Kirkham at Kew but I've not heard back yet and

Busy? They climb trees all da and get paid for it! Oh, how I wish I could get paid for climbing trees!
I think John Hammerton climbs the trees but TK is head of the arboretum so probably
quite administration-y. Although he did get to zip around the world stocking up on
emergency trees after the big storm of 1987.

London and managed to find one and get along to it. It was pretty packed even
though it was presumably advertised only to people who were already interested.
The talk was part of the Kew lecture season which, I assume, is advertised to
staff, students and friends but also open to the public. Very good - called "Plants
from the Edge of the World" about repopulating Kew after that hurricane.
