Hello All,

I am a newbie to posting but really have found this forum a wealth of knowledge in the past - However I have hit a brick wall finding a bit of kit.......Maybe you could help, please?

Hi welcome to the forum :)

What sort of budget do you have for your cook tent?

Hello and welcome!
What budget - what size?
Have you thought of making one?

Where about in Wales are you?
I am always up for a new face at our Meets in West Wales :)

Not sure what traditional means? Is that code for period/re-enactmant? If not, how about a 9x9 Brit Army wolf tent?

I've got this book
http://www.amazon.com/Camping-Old-Style-David-Wescott/dp/0879059567

Something like that may help you decide what you are specifically after.

Back before the end of the 20th C most cooking was done under a awning unless it was done for a substantial sized military unit with its own dedicated tentage.

it rather depends on what sort of stoves/ovens/field kitchens your intending to use.

Just thought, how about those market stalls where the sell you overpriced Sasquatch and emu burgers on farmers markets? Like a Baker tent almost.
