Trade axe&Scout axe FS.

Offered for sale are these two axes.The one at the top in the first pic is a trade axe style, Total length is 13 and a half inch.Cutting edge 3 and a bit inch.Has an unusual fixing on the top with a screw.There is also a spllit in the handle, second pic shows this.I dont think this will affect use..rehandling is easy if needs be.
The axe below that is a fine vintage 'scout' axe by Brades.Stiill retains its original trade transfer and comes with a leather mask that is stamped 'Boy scouts'registered trade mark.Made in england.There is a slight bit of movement in the head,this can be fixed by wedging.More or less the same measurements as the trade axe.
Trade axe is £18pp and the Brades scout axe is £25pp.Thanks.

oh if i didn't have too many axes already i would jump on this! i can vouch for the quality of brades, superb steel and good design.
just remember there are other good makes other than GB axes.
