Which bit of one would be the question here.....?

I reckon you are right though ;)

Pelvis, femurs and tail I think. Took me a moment to orient it properly...I was thinking spine not tail to stat with!

I'll bung some more tomorrow

I was thinking spine myself, the tail bones would probably shrink in size towards the end whereas the spine has hold the weight of the head and hold the spinal column. However when I look at the orientation of the pelvis I think it probably is the tail.

I'd say squirrel, but that's the spine not the tail,
The tail would resemble something like macaroni threaded on a string.

I have to say, it looks more like an bird, hard to say which bird, but the pelvis looks distinctly avian. The pelvis on a squirrel is tiny.

It's definately a spine, its hard to tell from the picture but the femur look too long for a squirel. Are the bones hollow if so it would be avian for definate.

I would agree with spaniel man that it is a bird of some sort.

I don't think it is a tail as there is not the correct taper and you can also see the remnents of the ribs.

I would hazard a guess at pheasant as most likely

also agree that its a bird and thats its the spine you're looking at. Not a chicken as got one of those rotting on my desk in front of me, but pheasant seems logical choice.
