Okay - heres a bit of "feeding sign".

Not hugely hard to explain so I won't offer much - anyone care to explain the marks here and state who's lunch this was?

i reckon a squirrel has split those...
In a past career (enviro-archaeologist) I was able to see classic wood mouse gnawing holes in a stash of carbonised hazelnuts from an early bronze age site - the client was very impressed, so I didn't admit that I just looked it up in a book!

Please keep these puzzle threads going - they're great fun.

Okay - it was an easy one, but I thought it made an interesting contrast with the wood mouse pictures :)

Squiggle of course - they split "vertically" and you can see the incisor marks where he has done just that!
