top result at the dump!

i usually find some great stuff at our local recycling centre,they sell what they can and today i got a real bargain,a nearly new camel pack,a new gas lamp with full gas canister and an unopened pack of 3 mantles to fit all for just £2.00!

and last week i got 40 gas canisters full ,3 lamps and 4 camping gaz cookers for £3.00!

i guess the ritch folk are still throwing kit out,anyone else had a bargain at their local dump?

Ours hide it in a container & will only sell to certain dealers. They are a pretty unsavoury bunch

Where I used to live you couldn't take anything (got yelled at! for looking at a brand new frying pan someone threw away) but now they let you have anything if you slip them a quid.

Having discovered that a scrap metal place pays money for non-ferrous metals, I suspect a lot of these council places have informal arrangements

We can take whatever we want just ave to sign it out so we can't dump it back the next day
