Tomahawk - design feature?

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
Tomahawks were used in Vietnam
As a last ditch, or close quarter combat weapon if a .45, entrenching tool or knife wasn’t available. The point was akin to the armour piercing bodkin used with yew longbows.
Tomahawks are comparatively light vs working axes and purely a fighting weapon. Think Fairbarn Sykes VS a KaBar.
