They look good! Did he give you them for free or did you have to pay? I'm curious as I'd be interested in trying to get hold of some of these myself...are they all decent steel or are some better quality than others?
I swapped the knife for them.
There all good steel from what ive found out so far, one is even brand new still in the packet.

nice swap, I have a few old Sheffield made files that I had given a while back. I want to have a go at making knifes from them. But I moved house six months ago, and I haven't had time to do anything with them. all I have done is aneal them in a good fire.
