Hey all,

I have only ever used DD tarps as they have ticked every box. Must have worn out about 3 in say 15 years or so?

I will need a 3x3 at a minimum whilst I would consider a time bit bigger.

Collective thoughts appreciated all but I need to get one ordered today incase the lovely postie folks let me down, again...

Hopefully you went eight the DD. :)

My experience is limited to:

an Aussie Hootch, but they are silly money now if you can find an originally. Great bit of kit but bulky.

One wind large footprint. Too small for your spec (only 1.5m width). Great in a day pack as stupidly compact.
No centre line tie outs but very light. Their Nebula 12’ might do but a bit more expensive than the DD

A sheet of green tyvek like material, bit heavier/stiffer that was used to wrap a motorcycle for delivery. No tie outs but it was free. This get used for every job!

I’d be interested to find out if you’ve found any good deals on DD tarps. Either 3x3 or 4x4 but not multicam…never multicam!

Backpackinglight.co.uk have OG 3x3 in stock for £37.

Quite a few places show £39-40.

I’ve always had hood service from BPL uk.

Has 3x3 for £35.
