Tilley lamp info please?

i have got an old tilley but it does not have a mantle !are all the mantles the same ? and how do you know the lamp model, do u get a stainless mantle for heat ?

Check out ebay for "Tilley" mantles, they are usually a bit cheaper than Vapalux ones.

I don't know of any stainless mantles for lamps

Just heaters.

Actually, are you sure you have a "Tilley"? best way to check is to compare what you have with-(once again; good old ebay)-photo's on the bay but heres a Vapalux:

Tilley's have horrible chromed wire cages which are invariably rusty, unless you get an old "guardsman" with four brass cap supports.

I hope you've got a Vapalux "by accident"
