I flew down south to work this week. Looking to economise on the company expenditure I selected hand luggage only and took my rucksack as carry on. When I got to my hotel I was emptying my bag and found two 100ml bottles of meths I had left in a pocket of the rucksack. I guess airport security still miss things! What's annoyed me is I didn't think I'd have got away with it again so I felt the need to bin them bottles and all. No I have no fuel bottles for my brew kit!

Empty the contents, wash out in the sink, dry and repack, lids off for your return journey.

Yeah I thought about that but there were complicated reasons, I'll not bore you. Still threaders, if nothing else at myself.

Could you have posted them back home? What a pain in the proverbial; really surprised they weren't picked up going through security though..?
