I expect that he's overbuilt it like that out of ignorance. I bet he didn't know he could have done it faster in a diffrent way and just went off and learnt to weld and cracked on.

I did read it. Having trouble believing it though (even if he bought all of it) rebar just ain't that expensive.

As I said in the above post, I have trouble believing this cost. That said, hi end furniture (a complete bedroom set with accessories) could easily cost that. Not that I'd flip that much for a child's bedroom set.
