Dark side of the Moon
I just finished this little bad boy....

round saw blade steel
cherry wood handle
stick tang
aprox 57-58 RC

finished with boiled linseed oil, a small split in the wood by the blade has spoiled it a bit, but it should be fine...

enjoy...:)

ahhhhh, but its not for me.... it is being given to a mate, he will have to decide (if he likes it and does not throw it into the bin) what clothes it needs...;)

Looks nice, what thickness is the blade.
It wouldn't take you long to pop the handle off and make another one for you mate to really admire.

the problem is it needs to be posted Hugo, its a freebey anyway, i have found cherry splits loads when drying....:(
Interesting, I picked up some more cherry yesterday along with walnut and some elm rounds, all I have to do for it is carve a handle for a splitting axe.
Done two of them today, one for me as well, waiting for them to dry a bit before finishing and fitting.
Don't you just love young farmers. :lmao: Hugo is a happy bunny with his wood stock mounting.

What were the specs for the knife by the way.
