the lanyard hole should be fine, i just know i made some mistakes first time, my second was just that much better learning from silly mistakes....;)

id use the pine first and see what happens, if you decide its big enough you can boil of the pine and get to work with some propper wood......

either way, enjoy and ask if you need to mate....:):):):)

OK so it needs some more sanding and shaping (it's a little bit Phallic and a little bit chunky), but it's getting there.

It's a "partial" hidden tang (ie I ballsed up and rasped off a bit too much whilst reshaping)

(ie. The liners make up for the tang as spacers where I wish I'd had some tang.)

I made some mistakes, I learnt a lot. But for my very first knife - with 90% free bits - well you be the judge.
