The Fox is very catlike in it's manner of walking, whereby the hind foot inlays over the front foot as seen here.

Note to self: Get a proper ruler!

Another scat atop a molehill. Foxes like prominent features on a landscape to advertise themselves, so to speak.

Red Fox. Vulpes vulpes
Fox track less than 24 hours old,on routine patrolling of its territory on crisp drying sand.
This images were taken on the 12 April, On the 9 August and I am still finding it's fresh tracks in the same location.
