Hi, This is probably not the right place but could not find anywhere else to post it. Just wanted to say that I have been on this site for about a week now and it is brilliant. at present reading all old threads. up to page 140. lots of useful info. and lots of friendly people it seems. Skaukraft.....Wrong side of the road ? us ? Nah I read an article a while back in one of the science magazines that put forward the argument that it was those who drove on the right who were causing the hurricane/ el nino problems.....seriously
I need to find the link, but it was proper research, stymied because N.America and much of Europe drives on the wrong side and financially the change over would be a logistical nightmare.

Hello and welcome!

I second Toddy on the side of the road thing btw. It was Napoleon who changed what side of the road Europe travels on, because he thought it would make it harder to lash out with a sword at a fellow traveller if the left arm was on the outside. The Brits, never having succumbed to the Napoleonic system.... never changed what had been normal for hundreds - maybe thousand - of years.
