Tent material

Can anyone recommend where I could buy nylon-type material to repair a tent by mail-order? It's my friends tent and I haven't seen it so I don't know the name of the material. Knowing him it's something cheap and nasty. He only needs about a metre square.

pointnorth.co.uk is quite popular around here for all sorts of material (including tent material) ... if they havn't got it on the website, then give them a ring.... very helpful and knowledgeable...

They will also send you some small free samples (if you ask nicely) that you can match to the material thats already used on your friends tent ;-)

They also sell thread and seam sealant so you can do a propper job ;-)
