Does anyone fancy some tallow candles? I've about 40 in the fridge, a mix of pure mutton, mutton and beef and some with beeswax to improve them and various types of wick but mainly twisted flax linen. They burn well but do not like drafts as they go all dribbly (thanks for testing them, you know who you are) and the linen wicked ones do need trimming as the cord isn't self consuming. Theres also some beeswax coated tallow jobs, as has been suggested were used to help the tallow last better.

Anyroad any one interested in swaps? They ain't suitable for emergency use as food as I can't guarantee which ones had wax added.

Having them take up a shelf in the shed fridge isnt encouraging me to make any more and my own use is't that great as herself prefers the smell of the raw beeswax ones I can make.
