Yeah sure, the leather looked to me as though it's been treated somehow to produce the pattern that shows in the pictures, i was just interested as i'm going to start my first sheath next week and realy like the look of the leather you used, did you buy it local to you?

well, I just treated the "virgin" leather with barley (barley grains on moka, like coffe, than few treatment on the leather), and some grease.
And I bought my leather here in Italy, yes, thickness is 3,5 mm.

For a more "old" look, you may treat (ligthlly) the leather with sandpaper before dying...
