The Dimensions of the rucksack seem to be
54 x 30 x 20 cm

The Dimensions of the German army folding mat (used 10 €, 425g) are
38 x 27,5 x 3 cm
So the German army folding mat seems to fit nicely in it next to the back.

In my opinion it's possible to put in this ruck sack a very compact Summer Trekking Equipment, based on Snugpak Special Forces bivvy bag and Defcon 5 poncho, Tomshoo 750ml titanium pot and a sleeping bag like Snugpack Special Forces 1. Or similar ultra light and ultra compact stuff.
Or a very compact 3 Seasons Weekend equipment.

Does anybody can tell us the weight of the rucksack?

Some confusion in this thread...

The Stridsäck 2000 is made by Sacci and is made of Mil Spec 950 denier waterproof fabric.
It is an awesome backpack that is very rugged and durable.

This has made some filthy b@stards copy the backpack and manufacture similar looking
ones, using thinner material, crappy webbings, inferior threads and not so good buckles,
and they have the nerve to call their crappy copies "the Armed Forces" back packs.

The Sacci made originals all have Mod issue "Three Crowns" labels on the inside of the top flap.
They are olive green with a hint of brown in them. If you see one in m/90 "splinter" camouflage
pattern it is a copy.


The inferior fake copycat sacks are hard to tell from the real ones just by looking at
pictures of them. You will need someone who knows these sacks to tell them apart.
I've got the real deal and some of my mates have been tricked into buying crappy
copies, so I have seen and tried the copies. And they are proper crap.

If you get a too good price, it's probably a snake skin crap copy, eventhough I've
seen copies sold for more than the originals.
