Lk35 sewing

I picked up a lk35 last week quite cheap . It is the stock version no mods. I wouldn’t mind adding a couple of good side pockets. I have some 10 litre dpm pouches. Which wouldn’t look great but I could maybe attach them in a non permanent way. Maybe die them green not that any one sees the bag other than me really but would be nice to keep the look.

Or could pick up couple of Swedish pockets and try sew them tidy which is the bit that concerns me as don’t want to wreck the bag
Plus the Swedish pockets don’t look very big
