Just been admiring Neil-1's pictures of his pack mods, Very nice and very proffesional.

I've just finished modifying mine with a hip belt, lumber pad and padded shoulder straps. Not as nice as Neil-1's if I'm honest but I'm very happy with it.

With luck I'll take a couple of pics over the weekend and post them up.

Nice work Neil.

Did you buy your waist straps and shoulder straps as a unit and fit them or have to make them up?....and where did you buy them from?

Like Neil-1 I made them. I used the original shoulder straps but added foam supports. The lumber pad and hip belt was made from stratch.

I purchased a foam kip mat (nice brown colour) for under £4 from Asda and like Neil-1 used the mesh backing from a Soldier 2000 Engineers jerkin.

Some straps and buckles from my local camp shop and a lot of work

Neil-1's bag was my inspiration as I'd got a quick look at it at a meet.
