Swannndri

I have had my swanndri a while now, and the smell of ferret on it has become a bit too strong what is the best way to remove the smell or am i best of consignning that one to ferreting exploits and getting a new one for everyday use

Hi,
i've heard tell that Nikwax now do a wool wash specifically for this type of problem (no i don't mean it says ferret smell on the bottle). I know a lot of people say never wash your Swannie but i'd go down this route if i were you. I'm thinking of doing it myself shortly so if you do it before i do, let us know how it works out.

cheers other people have said to hose it down or wash it in a river, does that sound reasonable?
