Simon: I had heard that surplus shops were only given ones that had been cut too stop people trying to use them as parachutes. I agree if Neil can source one that is not deliberatly cut up then that would be good & worth paying a bit extra for.If we have a wii round or one then that is £5 to £10 each & if we use it every month then it is worth having. The only pain with them is getting them dry if we have to take it down wet, as my lounge won't be big enough....

Have a word with Kevin at Endicotts, he will sort us out a goodun

Cheers ears, i even had a load of unmade bow drill materials ready to go so you could make and use your own set this weekend, ok, ok it's really a pile of Hazel, Willow & Sycamore at the moment.

Got a meeting come in for 3:30 AGAIN. Will see if I can blow it off, but as I'm the only one in from my department, could be tricky.

Fire brigade tarp is in the landy, which oddly isn't fire proof. Spare hammock is on the bergan. Grommets are packed, griddle too.

Simon, let me know what I owe you for the sausages, mmmmmmmmmm sausages.

I really need this this month. Gonna be some good hammock time.

Well, I've bought some rolls for my burgers, found some little plastic bottles for cooking oil, I've got flapjacks to share and I've modified by Aeropress so it fits inside the Dutch mug (which all goes inside the Swedish Trangia). I'm hoping for some decent rain tonight to see if my tarp setup is sufficiently weatherproof!
