Here's one for sausage100uk (one of the many Daves!) : Joy of field rations. It's a website I mentioned which features recipes suitable for cooking in mess kits; there's a recipe for doing bread from the German army of WWII that is highly suitable for doing in a Swedish army mess set for example.
