Australian survives 9 weeks in the bush

Well this is a bit of a story. fair play to the kid for surviving but he was clearly in a world of his own when it came kit and knowledge.

After reading the updated story I think their is more to this story. Looks like he had mental health issues and was not actually that far from home.

Hmm.
I'm familiar with the australian bush. He could have walked out in that time, just by following streams. Obviously wanted to stay lost.
It is a bit surprising that he didn't die of dehydration; he was obviously making attempts to stay alive. There is very little to eat out in the bush, unless you can hunt.
