Survival shows helped lost teen - News Item

Heres a news item that I thought you would all find interesting:

The family of a teenager who survived two nights in the Australian rainforest say they used to tease him over his interest in Ray Mears's survival shows.

He may have survived, but he obviously didn't take anything onboard about always being prepared when you go into the wilderness...

Mr Bliss was only wearing jeans, a T-shirt and light jacket, said police.

Insp Slingsby said: "He had no food or water - he only had his camera with him. He was walking in one of the coldest places in Victoria. The temperature can drop to minus four or five degrees Celsius."

Thats what I was thinking, someone with an intrest in survival shows should have picked up how importent a knife is. I always have a small folder on me weather im going into the woods or not.
