Hi,

I've got the bug for re handling these old butter knives. This handle is made from Teak & olive wood off cuts

If you have a long off cut, make a spread knife only from the wood.
In Sweden we use Juniper wood for our butter knives. As it is an oily wood the butter does not soak up (much) into the wood and go rancid.
Is Olive wood oily?
 
That does look good. goodjob

Maybe you ought to try and find a full matching set of cutlery and handle the lot. That would look superb on any dining table :)
