Spoonzilla!

I started this one before Christmas as I wanted a kitchen spoon for a friend's present.
It has come out kind of huge so I think I'll be keeping it as a rice measure.Not sure what the wood is.Might be willow but came in a bundle of logs from a friend & wood ID is not my strong point.It is a bit white at the moment & I'm thinking of kolrosing it, but oil may improve the look.
All comments & suggestions welcome as usual.
